The owners of Phat Karmine’s wanted a restaurant that reflected who they are and create a colorful story for Phat Karmine. The new restaurant is cool and hip with a bright, minimal rock & roll feel while maintaining a strict budget. Materials were kept inexpensive and a few custom touches, vibrant color and art help to create the funky, retro vibe the owners were looking for. Custom sofa style booths incorporate their logo into the design. Brick, brightly colored wall tile and custom chrome light fixtures help to highlight the Lichtenstein pop art and custom painted canvases of the very cool owners. The ceiling is simply angled shapes of floating drywall that are brightly painted. The overall look and feel helps to develop the story of Phat Karmine and create a unique and fun dining experience.
