“A building that sits lightly on the land” is how the City of Henderson described their vision of the new Senior Center. We worked closely with the City of Henderson and the Senior Center Design Committee to analyze sites, program and design the new Senior Center to create a facility that sits lightly on the land both aesthetically and environmentally. The senior center houses a commercial kitchen, dining area, wellness center, crafts rooms, game room, fitness / weight rooms, multipurpose room, conference rooms, movie room and admin spaces. Outdoor spaces include a BBQ area, and exterior game spaces.
This project is LEED Gold Certified.
