Simple forms and shapes are enhanced by exposed structural systems and low maintenance materials that will weather naturally over time in the desert environment. All 4 exposures have been designed as this center will be experienced from all sides; the streets that lead to the center as well as the center itself. The design is reminiscent of old desert dwellings with deep roof overhangs for shading patrons and the structure expressed at pedestrian level with landscape integrated into the design to soften the buildings and enhance the center.
