The neighborhood surrounding the park is a rare glimpse into Las Vegas’ past, bungalow homes built in the 40’s and 50’s surround Circle Park. This park has laid virtually blank since 1942 and is viewed as one of the initial projects that will stimulate the revitalization of the area. Every aspect of the design of this park was community driven. The community wanted a unique space that reflects the special community and allows artists to display their work, families to gather and children to play. CSD strived to provide the distinctive character and creativity the residents want while complying with the strict budget of a public project. Nothing in the park is standard; plants, overall design, walls, signs, benches, tables and garbage cans are functional and different.
