The two story, 97,000 square foot medical office building was designed to reflect the hospitality industry in which many members work, creating an experience that feels welcoming, calm, and dignified. The facility functions as a “one stop shop,” providing a covered patient drop off, a large double high volume entry lobby and waiting area, primary care, complex care, dental care, physical therapy, pharmaceutical services, and an expanded X ray and imaging department to support a higher level of diagnostic care on site. The building includes over 70 exam rooms, a pharmacy with a two lane drive thru, three classrooms, administrative offices, an outdoor roof terrace, and warm waiting areas shaped by natural light and a mix of glass, tile, and wood finishes.

Glass and steel are paired with a custom exterior ultra-high performance concrete rain screen panel system designed to emulate the surface of dry desert lake beds. Deep set apertures and targeted overhangs support comfort and performance, while an engaging entry sequence includes dense drought tolerant landscape, textured concrete, cast in place benches, and a roof skylight with DNA patterned metal screens.
