The contemporary design was inspired by the desert eco-system. The entry is highlighted by a wall of glass shaded by a perforated metal wall giving the feeling of a canyon with hidden spaces. The perforated metal provides shade from the Western sun while allowing for a naturally well-lit lobby. Covered parking is tied into the architecture of the building with skylights appropriately placed to provide daylight to the office windows. CSD also integrated watershed with the landscape; rainwater will be collected and distributed to perimeter plants. The open office floor system and natural daylight provides a sense of space for a relatively small office.
